Has anyone heard of this?
Members just get randomly deleted.
Happens quite often and is driving us mad.
They are just gone and can reregister as same username again but all their history etc obviously is gone.
Using latest version with not many plugins.

also the old member remains even though the same name is available and re setup again.
The old exact name on old threads has Unregistered next to it.

Please help as this is a major issue happening quite often.
Has effected at least 30 people last 6 months.

The only plugins we have are:

Fit on Page (2.3)
Quick Theme OnChange (2.1)
Thank You/Like System (1.5)
Welcome PM/Email (1.1)

database is huge at over 400mb, it's an old established forum

Could it be from an old plugin not uninstalled properly.
There are no remnants in plugins folder.

Do you have some sort of user pruning enabled?

Thanks, no pruning plugin installed, no. But we did have one a while back.
I looked for remnants but nothing in plugins folder so I presume it was a clean uninstall a while back

Perhaps the User Pruning from the ACP located in Board Settings under Configuration which works as a scheduled task?

I cant find that setting.
In any case these are active members for example I was just deleted a few days back but I had posted only a few days before that
