So I've been doing some thinking on how forums in General could improve activity. I think allowing guest posts may be beneficial. First you need to make the guest enter a captcha to prevent spam (is there a way to do this). You would also need a way to ban guest's IPs. After both of those features I think a forum could safely allow guest posts.

I mean, if someone wants to post only once or twice, why should they need to go through the hassle of signing up for an account?
