I searched over internet but didn't got it in the right way, please tell me how can i change my forum description for better SEO result. I shrink my url at Google+ and Facebook it just shows my forum title nothing else no description at all. Plz help me with this.
What is your URL and what is your niche what keywords are you targeting?
By default mybb doesn't have any meta tags except <title>!!
You can either use a plugin to add meta tags:
http://mods.mybb.com/view/metatags-plugin
Or add it manually however the best solution would be to add meta tag manually into your index page and use SEO plugin for the rest of the forum

I am confused, which index should i edit r u talking about root folder main index and please tell me the full procedure screenshots or defined codes will be great.
