MyBB Community Forums

So I have a quick question. I switched from SMF to MyBB and have a question. In SMF there was a mod called SimplePortal, it allowed you to add a homepage and portals in boxes with custom content on your forums index page. For an example you could Google them (I don't want to link it). Is there an option or mod similar supported by MyBB?
