MyBB Community Forums

So I previously owned a MyBB forum last year and it got shut down but I recently recovered the db in hopes of reopening it. So I added a fresh copy of files to the server and then after installing it I imported my db through phpmyadmin and then it asked for an upgrade. As you can see this is what it shows . So I removed the lock file and proceeded to upgrade when it asked for my administrator password but alas I do not know my password so I ran a query in phpmyadmin to update it to "test". I tried signing in to it and it redirected me back to the login page with this error above the login fields: . Could someone please tell me if i'm doing anything wrong or how to fix it? Thanks

Have you tried installing the version of MyBB the database uses (a fresh install), importing the database and then upgrading?
