I want to display images directly in the post so visitors don't have to waste time clicking. But there are only 2 options: Thumbnail or Full image. Neither can be resized so it's either a tiny thumb or many times a huge image that is too big.

I tried picking thumbnail option and add a max size of 600x800 but that didn't change the thumb but the fullsize image it links to.
So, any way around this?

you can use full images display option and fit on page plugin to re-size huge sized images

Problem I have with these plugins are that they are often time abandoned and so is this one: Last Updated: 9th September 2010
I'm not techsavvy enough to fix problems if something wouldn't work.

^ suggested plugin should work on MyBB 1.6.12 - if it doesn't work then post back here.
also no need to change default settings of the plugin.

Ok, good to know - I will try it out then. And also suggest that a size limit feature is added to MyBB.
