Many of my members are reporting logging in and finding they are still a guest. Some are new members and haven't come back because of this problem.

I've checked my cookie path and it is set to / and nothing else. I also have the auto set cookie path plug in activated.

What can I do to fix this problem? Many thanks!

your settings.php CHMOD'ed to 777?

It was set to 666. I've changed it to 777 now. Should that cure it?

It happens on this forum as well, I found out only after I typed posts which is quiting annoying....

Now just rebuild your settings by resubmitting it, and see if that fixes it.

Just act as if you were going to change a setting again, but don't change anything just click the 'submit' button on any settings page in the acp. That will rebuild the settings into the settings.php file.
