In the upgrade wizard the drop down menu with the list of earlier installations stops at 1.6.10 and has no listing for 1.6.11.
Is this going to cause an issue with finishing the upgrade without problems?

That's what I followed. It's not clear whether or not one must continue on after uploading all the changed files or just stop there. Anyway, I went no further and opened the forum back up and it seems to be OK.
However, it still doesn't answer the question about why the drop down does not have a listing for 1.6.11 for someone who needs to use the script. If the script is not needed for any 1.6.11 installs maybe a note to that effect should be added to the instructions.

Who should need the script when it is not required when you upgrade from 1.6.11 to 1.6.12?
You only need it when you are not using 1.6.11, but in that case your version is probably listed.
