I have a plugin/mod called Rate Me A Funny (http://community.mybb.com/thread-116139.html) and i set it up pretty easily with the default theme. Today i upgraded to a new theme, but i can't figure out how to set it up.

Well, everything is clearly stated in the linked installation guide. So I don't know what do you expect us to tell you. Just put the required {$post['ratemf']} variable to those 2 templates in place where you want it to display.
