Hundreds of error 500

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Hundreds. I've gotten them once in a while in the past. It's never been this bad.

I'm getting run in circles by hosting support.

Any ideas?

An internal server error is a generic error. Check your server error logs for more information.

In cPanel error log it shows as 'file can't be found error500.shtml', which I understand that error. It's because I don't have a 500.shtml. What's tripping error 500 though, I have no clue. It's just saying it was triggered when trying to access such and such a link or file. Example:

File does not exist: /home/blahblah/mysite.com/500.shtml, referer: http://www.mysite.com/forum/index.php

But it's all different links.

You need to contact your host. They're the only ones who can know for sure.

Crap man. they're just running me in circles. Talking to level 2 tech support now.
