Error Message: There was a problem communicating with the version server. Please try again in a few minutes.
Status: Not Solved.

Hey There,

I recently setup a new forum board a little while ago and after i deleted the install folder i tried to check for the latest mybb version (randomly) and a error message was displayed: "There was a problem communicating with the version server. Please try again in a few minutes."

Same goes for the plugins aswell, whenever i try to check for plugin updates i get the same error message as above.

Does any one know what the problem might be? Could it be because i deleted the install folder? i though that was quite common to do? Since the files wasn't really needed anymore?

I would really appreciate a little help. Smile

It can't access MyBB server. Nohing you can do, just wait. It happens sometimes.
