So I was curious if templates and themes would still be in the database, or if the plan for 2.0 was to move them to the laravel views folder?
Most likely they would be stored on the filesystem.
Thankfully they'll be on the filesystem so that they can be cached. I believe that's always been the plan since early on due to the past talk of using Twig.
Is the plan then to still have an online template editor then and make it work similar to wordpress (while still remaining secure I believe through suPHP)? Or would this be removed altogether?
I imagine there would still be a template/theme editor within the ACP. I'm not sure things have been planned quite in that level for 2.0 yet though - the major focus is really on 1.8 right now.
