This is probably best suited to a plugin, but if I could accomplish it without needing one, that would be great.
Basically, I'm developing a sort of events forum whereby I'd use XThreads to show events in a sort of simple list format (RateU already had that mostly covered for me), but I need a way to show posts as calendar events on a sort of 12-month calendar page, preferably without a plugin. If I have to edit core, so be it. This is only for a single project.
