There are a lot of images that are not loaded and I need help removing those, so they don't try to display any images at all.

I've been looking for a folder called "ipb" but can't seem to find it.
Would you mind being a bit more thorough?

You need to upload the "ipb" folder which came with your theme download to ./images/

The name of the file is correct? is to be:
arrow_h.GIF
in /images/ipb/arrow_h.gif
/images/ipb/lastpost.gif
/images/ipb/b_activeusers.gif
etc
