So I'm wondering.

A user on my forum wants to block anyone from sending them PMs, except who is on their buddy list.

If they disable PMing, but add people to buddy list. Can buddies still PM?

I'm really trying to find a solution to this.

The initial request I wanted but developers said doesn't exist/no pluging exists, is to limit PMing between genders (guys can only message guys and girls only girls).

Now I'm wondering is it possible to have Person A, only allow people who are on their buddy list to PM them, but anyone else cannot PM them.

User CP -> Options -> Only receive private messages from users on my Buddy List.

Wait... I just had the users try and they can't see this option. They added buddies on the buddy list.

All they see is:

Receive emails from the Administrators.
Hide your email from other members.
Receive private messages from other users.
Alert me with a notice when I receive a Private Message.
Notify me by email when I receive a new Private Message.
