Hello all,

I have a myBB forum (version 1.6.8 ) where whenever a member posts a new thread/post on the forum his/her email address is shown instead of their nickname or display name. Is there some option in the configuration where this can be fixed? I do not want the email address to be displayed instead of the username for the members. Can someone help?

never heard such issue. can you disable all the plugins and check if the issue gets fixed ..
anyway, it would be better to upgrade your forum to the latest available version (1.6.12)
there had been many security fixes since version 1.6.8
