I were going to clean out cache and accidently cleaned out my forum/cache. And now I don't have a theme.
I reuploaded the folder theme into cache, set it to chmod 777. Still nothing.

How do I restore it?
I have a backup but have never done that so how do I use my backup file?

you can try the suggestion given in replies of this thread --> Theme stopped working
