hello , i have my bb forums but some bots or ppl register and post like 2k threads on my forums within 1~2 days ,, is there a way to stop that ?

I have a few of these plugins installed and have yet to see any spam.

For my forum, this plugin (random security questions) has been AMAZING.

I have not had ONE spammer sign up in OVER A YEAR with this plugin turned on...

Just write about 5 different questions for it to randomly give the registrant, and make sure they are very unique questions that only a human would know. Like... "what is Popeye the sailor man's favorite food?" Most people will know the answer is spinach. lol

If the question presented to the person is too hard for them, there is a button they can click to get a different question too, so even if they don't know who Popeye is, they will probably know the next question if you are creative enough in what questions you choose.

I use Goodbye spammer for getting rid of spammers with 1 click, is also useful for trolls. I use the StopForumSpam plugin to deny known spammers from the StopForumSpam database from registering, and I use registration security questions. I use Recpatcha for captcha, and I enable the hidden field during registration in the MyBB settings.
