If I attach a doc./file, and go back as another user, when I click on the attachment to open or download it, it pulls up a box that ask for a username and password. I assume this is the database requesting this authorization. I want any user to be able to view and download an attachment. How can I fix this?

Is that member group allowed to download attachments?

I am not sure. I am new at this php board. I looked in the admin area and did not see anything. But I will look agian. Any directions would help.

[wiki]Admin_CP_Forum_Management#Permissions[/wiki] You should need to make sure 'Can Download Attachments' is checked to 'yes' on all the groups you want it to.
