i am trying to figure out how i can go about putting my forum into a 2 column layout.

i know it can be done cause i did it once but can't seem to find it again.

it would look like this:

i have googled.

if your wondering what i mean is this:

instead of:
main
site info
legal info
second
child ->sub
child->sub

they would be aligned in a 2 column layout.
not the subforums.
