Why administrators classic displayed and users horizontal?

There are two options for changing how the postbit shows, one applies to guests/new users, the other is a single user option.

To change for guests/new accounts: Admin CP -> Configuration -> Show Thread Options -> Post Layout.

To change for yourself: User CP -> Edit Options -> Thread View Options -> Display posts in classic mode.
