Hi, I just did update this plugin to work for MyBB 1.8

Additionally, the plugin features and logic have been drastically changed such that there is a big difference when compared to the version for MyBB 1.6. This is now effectively a post templates management system.

Even so, updating from previous versions should be possible if you follow the update instructions.

Just to flag an error: user groups who aren't enabled to use Templates cannot get onto the User CP at all, it returns a permissions error:
'You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:
Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.
You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.
Your account may still be awaiting activation or moderation. (Resend Activation Code)
You have accessed this page directly rather than using appropriate forms or link.'

Download the updated code from the repository or apply the fix manually:

Just replacing the files should work.
