When editing any groups with power (i.e. Moderators, Super Moderators and Administrators) and then saving, I get this:

Quote:Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forums/admin/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've read up on the mod_security stuff but I thought that was meant to be fixed in 1.6.x so I'm not sure if it's that.

Make sure everything has a proper chmod. Try disabling mod_security to see if that fixes it (before you bother troubleshooting a bunch more).

Yeah everything has a proper chmod. I was just looking into possible alternatives whilst I wait for my host to disable mod_security.
