MyBB 2.0 when it comes out?

As said countless times already; MyBB 2.0 will be released when it is ready, which will certainly be a vast amount of time after 1.8. Even MyBB 1.8 is a short while in the future.
In response to your post; no there is not, and never will be a fixed release data. Sure the team could think about setting a target of releasing 2.0 in the next year, but there will be no date released to the public. The is due to the possibility of issues or vulnerabilities being found near the release date and setting it behind schedule, if such a date is not set there is no "delay".

Oh, sorry. We're talking fixed dates. In that case, it will be released 31st April.

I personally don't mind when 1.8 or 2.0 will be released. I can still use 1.6 for quite a while, and I'm happy with it. Even if 1.8 comes out in 5 years, I'll still be satisfied.
