Not even sure if this should be posted here, but I'm at a complete loss so...

Almost every member I've talked to today has been unable to even load the forums, much less log in. With the only exceptions I know of so far being me and another admin.

our forum: http://www.the-velvet-room.com/ (running MyBB 1.6.12)
one user's screencap of the error: http://i.imgur.com/4jByvlT.png

Any other info needed if it can be of help, just ask. Since as I've no idea what could be causing this, I've also no idea what info may be needed to fix it.
Have you made any modification to your forum since this has happened? Also are you using CloudFlare?

Also you should know I believe it is your DNS. You are missing nameservers, you DNS did not respond.

I believe yours are ns7.hostmantis.com & ns8.hostmantis.com...

You can view the full report here: http://www.intodns.com/the-velvet-room.com
A new theme was added, and some groups were modified so they couldn't change their avatars/signatures and etc given to them for April Fools, though the latter has since been reverted back to what it was prior. (also this error didn't happen until the 2nd, access for everyone was fine on the 31st when things were changed and the 1st)

As for CloudFlare, I'm not entirely sure but I don't believe so.
I'm pretty positive it is your DNS. You check to make sure your nameservers are set right. You can do that by going to your host provider and looking for nameservers in your services.
I assume that can't be accessed in the ACP or site database files anywhere, right?

Since if not, then I'll just have to wait for the main admin who has access to the host provider to get online.
That is something that is not accessed from the ACP. Your website owner will need to access his hosting panel and make sure his nameservers are pointing to the site domain name. Then check the domain name at intodns.com and make sure there are no more errors. He might have to edit his MX/A records, but that might change after the nameserver change.

If you need anything else let me know mate. I will be glad to help Smile
