Hello,

I have tried everything to try and stop my activation emails going to spam but it still is, not only for me but for everyone that signs up to my forums.

Yes i am using SMTP.

I also realised when i signed up for community.mybb.com the email went to spam?

When i try the email test script it works fine so it is probably the actual message causing gmail to class the email as spam?

How can i stop this ? Thanks.

Check your IP if its not blacklisted.

Spam filtering is controlled on the user end so it's hard to understand how it could be happening to everyone or what you could do on the sending side to prevent it from happening to everyone.

For example at my mail server, I have a multiple choice of up to 8 black lists, gray listing, white listing, spam assassin with multiple levels, and then when it gets to my email client, it does Bayesian filtering and processes additional rules.

Yeah i am aware of this but i am having problems with simple, fresh email accounts which have never been altered or modified.

I have also found out something,

In Gmail it usually goes to spam, In hotmail it doesn't even reach?
