After I post on my forum, whatever I type in the quick reply box stays there and it constantly shows this loading please wait image. It doesn't go away. Could this be something I messed up in the postbit coding?

Are you running Jquery?
If you are, are you running it in No-Conflict mode?

It could be a html fault. If you have none validating HTML then the quick reply will hang. You will need to check showthread and postbits and showthread_quick reply templates.
