I no longer use pro portal and uninstalled it, yet the pro portal tab is still in the admin cp. how can I remove it?

The modules for ACP are located in yourforum.com/{admin_directory}/modules

To remove a module you simply need to delete that module's folder from the server. Disclaimer: I don't know anything about pro portal at all.
