i just started a forum and merged from phpbb. everything worked and the boards and threads were fine. ive only changed a few settings in the admin area. i get this message when i go into a board

That error message looks like you enabled SEO-friendly URLs from within the ACP (Admin Control Panel) without creating an .htaccess file which translates the SEO-friendly URLs into the standard names and parameters.

The package includes a file called htaccess.txt which needs to be renamed .htaccess
