I have used this edit in index.php file to show latest thread sidebar

Now i have one issue, i created an adult filter so whenever anyone uses bad word they will be replaced with another word.
The filter works very fine on thread and title but i saw that the the replacement word is not visible on sidebar thread name and i see abusive word there.
Is there any fix or tweak so that mybb word filter will replace it on sidebar as well

Editing core files for such simple things that can easily be done with plugins is not recommended. I suggest you removing the current modification and install this: http://community.mybb.com/thread-131633.html It takes word filter into consideration as far as I remember.

The code modification does filters bad words. Unsure why it doesn't works for you.
