because it all went bad when upgrading. my forum is now dead, i did backup the database and ftp stuff so is there a way to restore it???

*make sure you are using an empty database, or make sure there's no other tables with the same MyBB prefix_ already in the database.

Database Restore is a messy process I would rather import my backup!

Simply create a new database in PHPmyAdmin and import you backup into it then open /inc/config.php file and change inside the file database name and password!
