Please help i try to chmod the uploads and avatars (folders them selves) to 666 but it just changes back to 766 or sumthingg

I dont understand i am using corefftp i have tried on aceftp aswell

And ihave also tried chmodding the files inside avatars and uploads but it aint working please help

they should be at 755 or above (the folders). Don't know what your trying to change them to lower.

If you still need help changing them try exiting and restarting your coreftp program. Otherwise contact your host. You may not have enough permissions to change it down for some reason or another.

check the wiki on how to chmod , http://wiki.mybboard.com if you are unware of it. some hosts disable for some security reasons.
