Hi everyone,

I've posted a message here http://community.mybb.com/thread-153732.html, concerning default MIME type present in MyBB.

I think for a free (as GPL) product, it should be great to have some Open file format like :

• OpenDocument (ODT/ODF/ODG/...)
  
• SVG
  

The list of likely attachment types will greatly depend on the forum's subject matter. I'm not even sure if MS Word or Excel files are common attachment types on most forums.
