I've sent out mass pm instead of e-mails because I have more members than my shared host e-mail quota allows. But I still get auto warnings from my host that I've sent my max amount of e-mails when sending pm's.
I cannot find any setting for this so how do I disable so that no e-mail notices are being sent when pm'ing?

It's up to the individual user on if they get PM notification emails. I would suggest requesting a plugin to stop emails from being sent if when mass pm is used. It would be bad practice to forcefully change everyone to no email notification until they edit it again.
