I'm not entirely certain on how exactly the referral part works. What I would suggest though is if you see an option to revert that template to do it. It might fix it.

This will enable or disable the XMLHttp request features.

This was set to "No".

Just so you know, it isn't going to auto suggest names if you go to PM someone. As long as you're ok with that, it works. Unless I'm mistaken, after posting a reply, I believe it will actually do a refresh of the page.

Well but now we know that disabling it is causing problems.
