Full Version: Locked Out of Admin CP

I recently installed MyBB on my webhost and found that I could edit groups. I go and add groups and such and click the Administrator tab and uncheck "is a supermoderator" to see what would happen, I then click "save changes" and it asks me to log in, I log in and it shows the login screen again, I keep logging in but nothing happens. I then realized that I was in the administrator group and unchecking supermoderator meant that I would not be able to access the admin cp. So I am now stuck with only mod cp and nothing else. I searched and all of the people that have problems talk about phpMyAdmin or something and I don't even know what that is. Technically, I locked myself out of admin cp and cant edit anything IN admin cp, I can go to cPanel and upload files and edit them but I cannot access admin CP, so I'm locked out...as the owner. Any fixes would be great, I need a fix ASAP!
Big Grin ... and a precaution to your future dare experiments:

Nevermind. found a solution but thanks for the help!
Actually, deselecting "Yes, users of this group are super moderators" does not remove your Admin CP access; it's actually "Yes, users of this group can access the admin CP" that controls your Admin CP access. So to prevent any panic, if you accidentally revoke your Super Moderator privileges you can still access the Admin CP and you can reinstate your Super Moderator privileges.
