On my forum I installed mybb and I have been having a good few issues,

People can not login on chrome

For some reason I have to do a hard refresh to see changes to anything.

For example someone could sign up to the forum, and I would login and see them using the shout box but would have to hit control - f5 to refresh the page and see that a new member has been registered.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix these problems?

The reason your Shoutbox updates is because that makes requests to get updated. There is no such request for things like last post, latest member, etc.
