When we delete a thread shouldn't the delete button be changed to restore instead of having to use the moderator tools at the bottom of the thread?

It's not a bug but rather an improvement (we have already discussed it internally). I've created an issue here for Soft Delete improvements: https://github.com/mybb/mybb/issues/719
