We have two problems here:
1. Some people want the smilies box removed and they want the icon on the editor only. Some want both and (probably) some want none.
2. :s can't be used together in the editor along with :slow: or something else starting with :s because it always gets replaced first.

For 1. perhaps we can add a setting.
For 2. I have an idea which might work but I'd like to hear others' opinions.

1 - Not more easy create option for this in UCP?

If it ever gets added it's going to be in the AdminCP - it's up to the admin to decide if they want their theme displaying a smilies box or if the smilies are found in the editor itself.

or both.

The smilies box was kept, along with the icons on the editor itself.
