I would like to embed an mp4 video, similar like in a webpage with html5 <video> tag. Is there a plugin to achieve this goal? The mp4 video file would be on a CDN site, or any othe file sharing site which support hot linkinkg.

you might need to enable html in those forums. or using below plugin you can allow individual users to post html..
