Not a new thing; we do know how to fix it, but this is supposed to be a what you see here is what you get in the official release except mysupport which was made for these forums.
Did you want this to be posted as a bug, or is this a "bash the official theme" thread? Really, theme developers are probably very pleased that the official theme is so basic; makes their offerings more attractive.
