Hello,

I have closed some of my forums for posting replies and new threads but the buttons still shows in these forums. Is there a way that I can just remove them for these forums/threads?

closing a forum removes those buttons automatically. make sure there is no overrides in the permissions. did that forum display the icon for "locked forums". may I have the forum url.

The new thread button always shows unless the forum is a category or the forum is open option is set to no. I believe there is already a Github issue regarding this. The same thing for the New Reply button. Issue #454.
