I'm a noob that's just getting into making forums.
Up to now I've tried ProBoards, phpBB, InvisionFree and myBB.
Out of all of em I like myBB the most by far.
But now comes the noob question.=[
Why won't my plugins work? For example I want to activate the ShoutBox.
It says that it's activated yet it doesn't appear on the boards.

Well I hope you guys can help me with my problem.=]

If you add shoutbox.php to your forum url, does it come up?

Can your try activating the Hello World plug-in provided in the MyBB package.

Make sure you follow the instructions of your plugin exactly. If you have any problems you should contact the plugin author. Some plugins involve additional modifications, etc.
