I'm been wanting the Trophy plugin used by Yaldaram for sometime but it doesn't seem like he's released it even though it's been requested a lot.

It allows users to give awards called Trophy's to other users from the postbit. It's displays as a simple number count that shows how many trophy's have been awarded to that user.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who could build this plugin for me.

Ok I see, so you can add an extra Thanks counter of how many thanks have been received under the avatar like on Yaldaram?

Its the thank you like plugin - change button to read to trophy and only show the received thanks / likes in postbit.
