Hi everyone!

I love the news bar, as used on this forum - and use it in my mobile version.

For the main version, I use the excellent plug in 'Board Messages'.

My question!

How can I put a similar news bar into my footer? (Below the forums and above the footer menu?)

I have tried with code and it will place text, images, etc BUT won't use the .css to add a border or background colour.

A duplicate version of 'Board Messages' would work but I don't know how to run two instances of the plug in.

Any thoughts? Thanks all!

I want to know how to make the news bar .css code work or run a second copy of board messages.

you need to find the variable that is added by that plugin into your templates. copy that code to the footer templates...
