Here is a list of issues based on logging in wise:
  • When i log in in any broswer, the login was successful. However, goes back to the home page not logged in.
  • I can login into the ACP. However, when i click any tab i need to relogin. I cannot login because it wil just refresh to the login.

At this point, I cannot do anything right now. Sad
Have you read the "Login/Logout problems?" thread at the top of the forum?

Usually it's your cookie settings.

Yes! I cleared my cookies from my browser, and with the admin settings. I cannot even go to my settings in the ACP. It was working perfectly yesterday.....

I just uninstalled mybb and installed it and now it works fine. I fif not do any work on it anyways. xD
Hard to tell if you solved this issue or not.. but take a look at this thread: http://community.mybb.com/thread-154924.html
ugh here we go again...... I cannot do any everything if i fix it in my FTP. I will only be logged on into the index of the ACP. I need to log in all other sections, but when i login in it stays at the login screen.......
did you check the cookie settings on the admin panel... if tried that, then delete the ./inc/settings.php file from your server and refresh the forum so that the file would be regenerated.
I deleted the file and it regenerated. The strange thing was that the file permission was at 777 and once it regenerated, it is 664....... Could the permission be the problem?

I read and followed your tutorial, it does not have an error when i log in. It just does nothing. And it is useless since i cannot access any tabs in the admin panel.
