Installed the plugin from http://mods.mybb.com/archive/view/username-style, and it worked great - except that it apparently does a new query for every username on the page :/

Enabling this plugin jumps my sql queries from 33 (already too high ) to over 80..

Is there any other way to achieve this effect, or fix the plugin so it's not killing page generation time?
