Add a button to the postbit which will take you to the top of the page without having to scroll.

Or add a button to the right bot corner... in mybb 1.6 I use this plugin:

"Return to top" is already available in the footer and imho I don't see a need for it in each and every post. I don't want a extra button in every post which might be never/rarely used....

I agree; I have a scroll bar and I can use it, I don't want to clutter the post bit up...

Yeah it is an extra image in every post that isn't needed. Threads are separated by pages anyway so isn't like pages are that long.
