I've tried to create a thread containing the forum rules, but all applied bbcode will show as plain text. Even the linebreaks will showup as <br>.

I am quite new to myBB and its functions, I do not know where to dig to fix this problem. Has this ever happened to you, or do you know any solutions?

I can't tell did you solve the issue? Or no?

the tag <br> is non-strict HTML type tag.
The tag <br /> is the proper way to use the html break tag.
Tags that look like [b] and the closing form which is

[/b] 

is MyCode.

<br> </br> </ br> all work in html.
