They'll likely still get there via yourdomain:2083, so for the most part it's pointless to block the /cpanel redirect that's added by default. As long as you have a secure password, you'll be fine, assuming your host as cPHulk enabled, which will completely drop requests to any service on the server from an attacker's IP after (I believe) 5 failed attempts.
